On Thursday, Governor Douye Diri led a prosperity walk in honour of the late Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Oborawharievwo Ewhrudjakpo, bringing together citizens and officials to pay tribute to his dedicated service and contributions to the development of Bayelsa State.
The late Deputy Governor passed away last week, an event that plunged the state into mourning. Following his death, the Bayelsa State Government declared a three-day period of mourning, during which flags were flown at half-mast as a mark of respect for his leadership and service.
