The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has once again secured its position as Nigeria’s top-performing agency in the Ease of Doing Business rankings, earning the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Transparency and Efficiency Champion Award for the fourth consecutive year. The Board clinched the top spot in 2022, 2023, 2024, and now 2025.

The award was presented on December 2, 2025, at the State House in Abuja. Receiving the award on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, was the Acting Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Omomehin Ajimijaye. He emphasized that the recognition reaffirms NCDMB’s dedication to policy reforms, operational excellence, and its commitment to achieving the Board’s strategic goals.
This milestone highlights the Board’s strong work culture, effective teamwork, and sustained engagement with industry partners and stakeholders. It also reflects NCDMB’s continued focus on efficiency, transparency, and high-quality service delivery.

The PEBEC Awards and Gala Night, chaired by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, celebrated outstanding achievements in public service reform. PEBEC Director General, Princess Zarah Audu, praised NCDMB for its leadership in automating key processes to reduce human interference, encouraging other government agencies to follow suit.
NCDMB also received the Reform Champion Award, presented to Engr. Cityfaith Baribor Zorasi for exemplary performance as the Board’s liaison to PEBEC.
Reaffirming its commitment to excellence, NCDMB pledged to continue strengthening service delivery, enhancing institutional performance, and supporting the growth of Nigeria’s local content ecosystem under the NOGICD Act of 2010.
