Friends, family members, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers at the residence of Hon. Wisdom Fafi, Member representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 2 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, to celebrate his birthday.
The celebration was marked by singing, dancing, and solidarity chants in honor of the lawmaker, with many applauding his impactful leadership and ongoing developmental efforts.
Among the dignitaries present was the Member representing Yenagoa Constituency 1, Hon. Chief Ayibanengiyefa Egba, who congratulated Hon. Fafi and praised his commitment to his constituents. She noted that the large turnout was a testament to the positive influence he has had, adding that continued prayers for strength, wisdom, and long life were the least owed to him.
Also speaking at the event, the Supervisor for Youth and Sports in Kolokuma/Opokuma, Hon. Perekitari Orupou, described Hon. Fafi as a leader worthy of emulation. He recalled the celebrant’s contributions as the former Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA and highlighted ongoing projects such as youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and human capacity building.
In his remarks, Hon. Fafi expressed deep gratitude to God and all those who came to celebrate with him. He described September 1st as a special day and pledged to continue serving humanity with renewed commitment.
The lawmaker, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Information, appreciated the support of the state Governor and others who have contributed to his journey. He acknowledged the challenges in public service but chose to focus on the positive aspects of his work and the lives touched.
He prayed for continued celebration and blessings for all who stood by him.
