A former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Prince Chibudom Nwuche, has rallied stakeholders in Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas of Rivers State in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike.
Nwuche, under the platform of Team Rivers for Tinubu (TRT), also thanked the President and Wike for his appointment as Chairman of the South-South Development Commission (SSDC).
Addressing elders, women, youths, and party leaders, he said Tinubu deserved the support of all stakeholders for the love he had shown to Wike, Rivers people, and the Niger Delta.
He commended Wike’s performance as FCT Minister, describing him as an excellent performer who had transformed Abuja just as he did Rivers State during his tenure as governor.
Nwuche urged all stakeholders to support Tinubu for a second term in 2027, stressing that no coalition would stop the President’s reelection. He dismissed the coalition leaders as power-hungry individuals without genuine intentions for development.
He maintained that Tinubu had taken bold steps such as subsidy removal and economic reforms that increased state revenues, enabling governors to meet obligations and execute projects.
Nwuche insisted that it was the South’s turn to complete eight years in power, adding that Tinubu was already doing a remarkable job.
