Founder of the Gifted Natus Foundation and Global Headquarters, Gifted Natus, has announced his return to active politics after several months of withdrawal from the political scene.
Natus made the announcement in a statement posted on his official Facebook page on Thursday.
He explained that his decision to step aside from politics in November 2024 was to enable him focus on consolidating the activities of his foundation and global headquarters. According to him, the period of reflection and service was both rewarding and impactful, allowing him to deepen his commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and humanitarian causes.
Natus said his renewed decision to rejoin active politics followed wide consultations with stakeholders, family members, and supporters across different levels. He added that his return is driven by a stronger sense of purpose to contribute meaningfully to the process of governance and continue championing people-oriented leadership that empowers citizens and strengthens society.
He also disclosed that details of his new political affiliation will be made public in the coming days.
He expressed appreciation to everyone who supported him during his period of introspection, reaffirming his commitment to a democratic and inclusive society.
“Together, we will keep building the future we desire,” he added.
Before his withdrawal in November 2024, Natus was actively involved in grassroots politics and youth mobilization. He also served as a member of the PDP Youths and Students Directorate during the last governorship election in Bayelsa, where he contributed to youth engagement and campaign coordination efforts.
