RWANDAN GOSPEL SINGER AND TIKTOK STAR GOGO DIES AT 36

Popular Rwandan gospel singer and TikTok sensation, Musabyimana Gloriose, fondly known as Gogo, has passed away in Kampala, Uganda, at the age of 36.

The artist, who captured hearts with her uplifting songs and viral online presence, died on the morning of 4 September 2025.

Gogo and her team had travelled from Rwanda to Uganda on 28 August for a three-day revival in Mbarara, which ran from 29 to 31 August. After the event, they proceeded to Kampala, where she was scheduled to meet with a company she was preparing to promote.

Soon after arriving in the capital, she fell ill. Initially, her team believed it was a minor complication linked to her long-standing heart condition. However, her health worsened rapidly, and despite being rushed to Kyegera Doctors Center, she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Her passing was confirmed by her manager, Bikem wa Yesu, who accompanied her on the ministry tour. In a moving tribute, he wrote: “R.I.P Gogo, what terrible news! God, strengthen my heart.”
